Deep Frozen Bone Allograft
Frozen bone allograft includes femoral head, whole femur, proximal and distal femur, whole tibia, proximal and distal tibia, fibula, humerus, radius, and ulna.
Frozen bone allograft was recovered under full informed consent of the living donors or from deceased donors whose legal next of kin has given permission, for the allograft to be donated. All donor’s medical/social history was screened for medical conditions or disease processes that would contraindicate the donation tissues. Donor blood sample were taken for screening of HIV, VDRL, Hep B and C. Global swab of the individual bones collected at recovery were cultured for microbial and fungal contaminants.

FREEZE DRIED BONE ALLOGRAFT (OsteoMAN)
In the process, the bones are demineralized followed by freeze-drying. This demineralized bone matrix has varying degree of osteoinductive capacity. The grafts are processed into various forms and sizes such as cancellous bone chips, cortical corticocancellous struts and cortical rings, to suit the surgeons' needs. The bone grafts are used mainly by the orthopaedic, plastic, maxillofacial and dental surgeons for bone augmentation or to correct bone defects.
Cancellous Chip
Non-load bearing cancellous bone prepared from cancellous part of the human bone.
Size: 10mm x 10mm x 10mm.
Cortical Block
Cortical bone prepared from the shaft of femur, tibia or humerus.
Size: 50mm length.
Cortico-Cancellous
Cortico-cancellous bone prepared from the shaft of femur, tibia or humerus.
Size: 50mm length.
Cortical Ring
Cross section of cortical bone prepared from the shaft of femur, tibia or humerus.
Size: 60mm length.
Granules
A freeze dried cortical bone ground in bone grinder. Packed in a vial.
