USM Tissue Bank has actively and continuously conducted awareness programme that are related to tissue banking to professionals and awareness campaigns about organ and tissue donation to the public.

It has also organized road shows to hospitals throughout the nation to explain to health staff members about the roles played by the tissue bank in health services in our country. At the same time, the road show helped to make the health staff aware of their duty and responsibility to develop and to instill awareness among Malaysians on the importance of tissue and organ donation in the community.

Tissue Bank also engaged in amnion donation programme held by the USM Tissue Bank staff and USM Hospital staff to increase awareness among donor regarding the function and benefits of amniotic donation. Click here for further information regarding the amnion donation programme.
